March Building Resilience Online Workshop

Life can be pretty tough sometimes. Why is it that some people can go through really rough times and still bounce back? The difference is that those who bounce back have resilience. Resilience is our ability to adapt successfully in the face of stress, trauma, or adversity and then bounce back to our normal state of functioning and well-being. The good news is that resilience isn't something you're born with or not. The skills of resilience can be learned.
This 4-session Building Resilience Program will provide you with skills to increase resilience during and after stressful life events, improve general well-being and enhance performance in demanding activities such as academics and sports. Research indicates that increased resilience can positively affect school and life outcomes for students, including academic achievement.
This program will introduce you to Mind-Body Bridging, an evidence-based practice that reduces distress and builds resilience. You’ll learn skills to increase awareness of your body, thoughts, and emotions, recognize unhelpful patterns, and reframe experiences to unlock your full potential.
Bad Prompt = Bad Output: Learn AI Prompting
Workshop/Training
This workshop will break down the basics of AI prompting. Content will be divided into two 45-minute sections focusing first on prompt foundations, then advanced AI workflows and responsible Use of AI. Hosted by the USU Data Science and AI Center (DSAI Center).
Agentic AI in Practice
Workshop/Training
Agentic AI in Practice explores how emerging AI agents can meaningfully support workflows across disciplines at USU. This workshop will introduce practical strategies for integrating AI tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and impact.
Parent Connective Free Webinar Series
Workshop/Training
The Parent Connective is a collaboration between USU Social Work and the Department of Health to provide local parents with free evidence-based parenting support and increase a sense of community. From January-May 2026, all students, parents, and professionals are invited to attend a free monthly webinar on the third Thursday from 6:30-7:30pm. *Professionals may earn 1 CEU for attending.
Please note that the March 19th event will be held at the Utah Theatre from 7-8:30pm (instead of online from 6:30-7:30pm).
Continuing Education: Implementing Contextually Responsive Mental Health Care for Rural Trans and Nonbinary Clients
