CHaSS Research Workshop: Grant-Writing Charrette

Workshop/Training

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHaSS), the Office of Research, and USU Libraries will sponsor a grant-writing charrette - a hands-on, collaborative peer review session. Participation in the workshop is by application and is limited to 9 CHaSS faculty (at any rank or campus), including lecturers and post-docs. Science Unwrapped: Croaky Shapeshifters

Inquiring minds of all ages are invited to Science Unwrapped, the public outreach program of USU's College of Science. Admission is free. Our March 17 speaker is USU biologist Molly Womack, who presents "Croaky Shapeshifters: How Frogs Shapeshift within a Lifetime and Across Millennia" at 7 pm in the Emert Auditorium (ESLC 130) of the Eccles Science Learning Center on the USU Logan campus. Dr. Womack will speak for about half an hour and then invite questions from the audience. Afterwards, enjoy refreshments and hands-on STEM learning activities provided by student and community groups in the ESLC atrium. Debussy in Sight and Sound: An Art + Piano Collaboration

Arts/Entertainment

Join piano majors and art majors in a collaboration featuring Debussy’s evocative Preludes for Piano, accompanied by original artwork inspired by each piece of music. Concertgoers can participate in a silent auction for the artwork and enjoy an interactive performance highlighting the sights and sounds of French impressionism.
