Biography
Amy began her study of the violin at age 3. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance from Utah State University where she had the opportunity to study closely with the Fry Street Quartet. While a student at Utah State, Amy was frequently chosen for special projects and was a winner of the USU Concerto Competition in 2017. She has a decade of teaching experience and is always seeking to improve her pedagogical skills. Beyond her private studio, Amy freelances with her quartet as well as the American Festival Chorus and Orchestra. Amy strives for excellence as a performer, educator, and human being. She believes everyone should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive regardless of their ability status, cultural heritage, religion, age, gender identity, or socio-economic status.
