   <bio>Danya Rumore is an Associate Professor of Practice in the School of Social Sciences, the Director of the &lt;a href="/social-sciences/edr/index.php"&gt;Environmental Dispute Resolution (EDR) Program&lt;/a&gt;, and the Founder and Co-Director of the &lt;a href="https://extension.usu.edu/gnar/index.php"&gt;Gateway and Natural Amenity Region (GNAR) Initiative&lt;/a&gt;. She is a facilitator, collaborative process designer, and conflict resolution professional who specializes in addressing complex, multi-party public challenges. She was the 2025 recipient of the Utah Council on Conflict Resolution Peacekeeper Award and the 2018 recipient of the Rob Williams Award for Emerging Environment and Public Policy Leaders.&lt;/p&gt;
																		&lt;p&gt;Danya is passionate about teaching people how to productively navigate conflict and empowering them to effectively collaborate to address complex issues. She is the lead instructor of the EDR Program’s professional training programs, including the flagship &lt;a href="/social-sciences/edr/training/collaboration-certificate-course.php"&gt;Collaboration Certificate Course&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="/social-sciences/edr/training/federal-collaboration-certificate-course.php"&gt;Federal Collaboration Certificate Course&lt;/a&gt;, and she has taught thousands of students and professionals the skills of collaboration, negotiation, conflict resolution, facilitation, and leadership. She has extensive experience supporting and facilitating collaborative problem solving and conflict resolution on a wide range of community, land use, water, and public challenges. She also trains and coaches third-party facilitators.&lt;/p&gt;</bio>
