On behalf of the IELI faculty and staff, I am pleased that you have found our website. We are a small program with highly qualified and experienced faculty. The Intensive English Language Institute began in 1972 and since then, we have been involved in many different international activities at Utah State University (USU), in the U.S., and around the world. We offer a full academic 18 credit Intensive English program that successfully prepares students for their chosen majors at the university. IELI graduates have an average GPA of 3.0!

Accreditation
IELI is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) for the period April 2017 through April 2027 and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language Programs and Institutions. CEA is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accrediting agency.
