Call for Proposals
We are currently seeking proposals for posters from community-engaged leaders, professionals, researchers, teachers, and students interested in sharing their work at the 2026 Utah Conference on Community Engagement. Submissions are being accepted on a rolling basis until April 15th. Respondents will be notified of acceptance within a week of submission.
Why Submit a Proposal?
This is an opportunity to share expertise, showcase impactful initiatives, and engage with like-minded professionals. We are seeking proposals that highlight experience engaging community members in practice, research, and teaching. Sessions that explore case studies, lessons learned, approaches to challenges, organizational processes, and capacity-building strategies are all welcome.
Session Topics & Types
Session proposals may address a wide range of community engagement topics, including collaborative program design, community-engaged planning, working with marginalized populations, strategies for impact and evaluation, resource mobilization, youth engagement, technology, and other relevant practices. We are currently only accepting proposals for the poster session:
Poster Session
Presenters create a 36" x 48" poster and discuss their work with attendees during a 75-minute interactive poster showcase.
Conference Tracks
Session proposals should fit within one of the following conference tracks:
Community-Engaged Teaching, Learning, & Administration
Proposals that explore the design, co-creation, or assessment of community-engaged courses and programs, including approaches that respond to community priorities and strengthen campus–community partnerships.
Community-Engaged Research & Evaluation
Proposals that highlight collaborative research or evaluation methods that involve community members throughout the process, from shaping questions to interpreting and sharing results.
Community-Engaged Programming
Proposals that examine the planning, development, or delivery of community-centered programs and services, including strategies for inclusive design, sustainable implementation, and responsive partnership.
