Biography
Jennifer Peeples is a Full Professor of Communication Studies. Her research examines environmental and visual rhetoric to understand how people think and talk about energy and toxicity. In addition to her books, articles, and chapters, she has a new book, Toxic Imaginary: Visual Rhetoric for a Polluted Planet, coming out with Michigan State University Press, fall 2026.
