Since 1992, the John W. Morris Endowment has supported journalism students through scholarships and lecture series. John's legacy as a fiercely dedicated journalist has rippled throughout the years and is evident today through The Morris Utah Public Radio Internship Scholarships. This scholarship seeks to pass John's legacy of passionate and well-trained journalism on to new generations of students. While working at Utah State University, John dedicated time to mentoring journalism students, and he would be proud to know that many of the staff at Utah Public Radio are graduates of the program he developed.
