What is the Alumni Board?
The HPI Alumni Board is a group of graduates who are passionate about peacebuilding and committed to creating opportunities for alumni to stay connected, network, and continue developing their peacemaking skills.
Who can apply?
Anyone who has completed an HPI certificate and who has a passion for peacemaking, a desire to serve, and an interest in helping shape our newly formed Alumni Association.
What roles are available?
We have several positions open, including:
- President
- Secretary
- Events Coordinator (local and remote events)
- Outreach & Communications Specialist
*We also are open to other roles and using your strengths and skills in meaningful ways!
What’s the time commitment?
- Approximately 2–5 hours per month
- Monthly board meetings (30–60 minutes)
- Monthly Peace Practices for all alumni — board members are encouraged to attend as often as possible
- Occasional in‑person events (If you live close to Logan)
- Board terms last two years
Do I need to live near Logan or USU?
No! You can live anywhere. Our board meetings and Peace Practices are held virtually, and most responsibilities can be done from wherever you are.
