Staff Spotlight: Bailee Fox

Bailee Fox is the new Staff Assistant at the Heravi Peace Institute. She graduated from Brigham Young University–Hawaii, where she earned a B.A. in Intercultural Peacebuilding and a BSW in Social Work, with a minor in Psychology. Her background includes experience in program coordination, peace and conflict education, and administrative support across both community-based and academic settings.

Bailee has worked as a Program Designer with Humanitarian Experience (HXP), supporting international service programs through logistics coordination, itinerary development, and cross-team communication. In this role, she led seven international service trips for youth ages 14–19 in countries including Zimbabwe, Romania, the Philippines, and Kenya. This included leading a group to Romania to work with Ukrainian refugees, reflecting her strong interest in refugee-focused peacebuilding efforts.

Previously, Bailee worked for the David O. McKay Center for Intercultural Understanding, where she supported the implementation of peace and conflict education initiatives and collaborated closely with the program director to develop programs serving students and local communities. Her work included integrating peace education into elementary schools and assisting with training university students in conflict transformation and facilitation skills through workshops.

Bailee has a strong interest in intercultural engagement and language learning. She studied Mandarin for several years and speaks Russian fluently.

She enjoys exploring new places and engaging with different cultures. Outside of her professional work, Bailee enjoys yoga, running, surfing, and playing soccer.
