Ethan Wayland is the Team Coordinator of the GAS Team and is responsible for program management and systems engineering. He became Team Coordinator of the GAS Team in Spring 2024 and was previously a Payload Engineer. As a member of the Payload Team, Ethan was heavily involved in the design, simulation, manufacturing, and testing of the GASRATS transparent patch antenna payload. He has also been involved in other projects throughout the lifespan of the GASRATS project, ranging from designing the TPA mounting method to creating a prototype electrical board. Ethan is extremely grateful for the opportunities and experience he has gained as a member of the GAS Team, and intends to apply that knowledge to a career in aerospace. Ethan is studying Computer Engineering with a Math Minor and is expected to graduate Spring 2026.
