Allie Sherman

Biography

Alexandrea Sherman is a graduate student researcher in Sociology, focusing on enviornment & community, climate change, and environmental justice. She earned her BS in Sociology with minors in Psychology and English from Utah State University. She has worked on multiple energy projects including surveying mental health and wellbeing of transitioning coal communities, and a new project where she is studying fast-paced development of large scale solar projects and the effects it has on communities. Allie's true interests lie with intersectionality, and she hopes to one day conduct studies of her own that bring together perspectives from multiple disciplines including social sciences, natural resources, and political science.
