Political Science Teaching

Overview

During their time in this program, students will gain vital knowledge about political science and the dynamic subjects that make up its curriculum. Students will also be exposed to up-to-date teaching methodologies and prepare to teach political science in secondary schools in Utah through USU's Secondary Teaching Education Program (STEP).

Real World Application

Graduates of this program will leave prepared to become high-quality social studies teachers in secondary schools in Utah. Through STEP, graduates will leave qualified to gain secondary teaching licensure in the state of Utah to teach social studies in grades 6-12.
