I've always been fascinated by the way people experience space—how it affects our mood, our behavior, and our sense of self. That curiosity led me to pursue a double major in Psychology and Interior Architecture & Design, along with minors in Linguistics and Art. My background is a mix of hands-on and academic: I've designed for hospitality and short-term rental projects, and I've also worked as a journeyman for a general contractor, which gave me a real appreciation for the process behind the walls. I'm especially interested in designing environments that support mental well-being and feel both intuitive and meaningful to the people who use them.

Student Projects
Caer Black Residence
“Caer,” a term rooted in Welsh heritage meaning fortress or castle, evokes the spirit of strength and legacy that runs deep in the Black family’s roots. Caer Black is a residential design project that explores the intersection of bold contrast and natural serenity. Drawing inspiration from traditional Nordic structures and contemporary minimalism, the design emphasizes layered textures, exposed architectural elements, and a refined palette that evokes both strength and comfort. The result is a space that honors the family’s vision for a creative sanctuary—a place where history, tradition, and functionality converge seamlessly.
Aggie Wellness Hub
Aggie Wellness Hub is a student wellness center designed to provide a comprehensive space for students to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This project focuses on creating a welcoming, calming environment where students can engage in wellness activities, relax, and access resources for mental health support. With flexible spaces, natural light, and thoughtful design elements, the Aggie Wellness Hub aims to foster a sense of community and offer a sanctuary to promote balance and self-care within the university.
Petit Cochon
Petit Cochon, meaning “little pig” in French, is a charming and whimsical take on the traditional café experience. Inspired by the beloved animal cafés of Japan, this Logan-based concept fills a unique niche, offering guests a cozy retreat where they can sip on artfully crafted drinks while enjoying the delightful company of friendly piglets. It stands out by offering an immersive, playful experience that invites visitors to unwind and connect with both the animals and the space, creating an unforgettable outing for animal lovers and food enthusiasts alike.
Sfogliatelle
Inspired by the soft, organic forms of pig ears and the delicate, layered folds of Italian sfogliatelle pastry, “Sfogliatelle” is a lighting series that brings a sense of warmth and playful elegance to modern interiors. The design reinterprets these familiar shapes with draped paper shades that mimic the pastry’s crisp layers, gently embracing an opaque globe to create a diffused, inviting glow.
Arcane
Arcane is a hybrid space designed to blend retro arcade nostalgia with the vibrant culture of tabletop and role-playing games (RPGs). Located in Tremonton, Utah, Arcane will serve as a community-first space where gamers of all ages can gather, share their interests, and participate in events that foster a sense of connection. The design is rooted in the ethos of inclusivity, fun, and adventure, with immersive elements like neon lighting, medieval-style décor, and a fusion of modern and retro design.
