Myriam Musgrave is a graduating senior earning her bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture and Design with a minor in Art. During her time in school, she completed an internship with Sanctuary Design Co. in North Carolina, where she further developed her creative skills in a professional setting. She also valued the opportunity to work on projects with visiting designers, which challenged her to think quickly, present confidently, and adapt to a variety of design perspectives and experiences she's excited to carry into her future work. Myriam is especially drawn to the challenges and scale of commercial design and looks forward to finding a role at a firm where she can contribute fresh ideas, collaborate with a creative team, and continue growing as a designer.

Timber Heritage Collection

The Timber Heritage Collection celebrates the rich history and culture of North America’s logging industry through carefully crafted patterns. Drawing from the traditions of lumber towns, the tools of the trade, and the folklore of the forests, each design reflects a different aspect of this rugged way of life. Inspired by historical motifs and hand-drawn with a contemporary touch, the collection highlights the craftsmanship, resilience, and storytelling that define timber culture.

Lever is a growing tech startup focused on increasing business visibility for small and medium-sized companies through business intelligence and data. Their new office space is designed to reflect their core values—simplicity, elegance, and functionality—while fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment. The layout balances focused work with collaboration and relaxation. Designed with future growth in mind, this workspace offers a seamless blend of functionality, innovation, and adaptability, aligning with Lever’s mission to keep technology effortlessly subtle and simple.

Neon Spurs

Neon Spurs is designed to provide a unique and immersive dining experience that blends the rugged charm of a western saloon with the futuristic elements inspired by space exploration. The goal is to create a dynamic environment where guests can enjoy high-quality food and drinks in a setting that feels both adventurous and welcoming. The layout prioritizes privacy and intrigue, with an obscured view of the dining and bar areas from the entrance, encouraging a sense of discovery as guests move through the space.

Mountain Life Elevated

This kitchen is designed to be a space where warmth, functionality, and timeless craftsmanship come together. Rooted in a mountain-inspired aesthetic, the design balances vintage charm with modern comfort, featuring natural materials, rich textures, and a layout that encourages gathering. A palette of warm woods, stone accents, and soft, ambient lighting enhances the sense of intimacy, while thoughtful spatial planning ensures efficiency. Large picture windows provide stunning views on the very mountains that inspired this design.

Emberworks Studio

Emberworks Studio redefines the typical experience found in pottery painting studios, shifting away from a mass-produced feel in favor of a more artisan-focused, hands-on approach. The space is designed to highlight the beauty of organic, hand-spun pottery, embracing individuality and craftsmanship rather than uniformity. The industrial aesthetic of the building reinforces this vision, with tall brick walls, exposed steel, and expansive windows creating a bold yet inviting atmosphere. The brick exterior seamlessly connects to the warm red clay tones inside, reinforcing a sense of continuity and grounding the space in the natural elements of pottery-making. Deep green patina accents and raw, textured finishes contrast with sleek, modern lighting, balancing the rugged and the refined. This is a space where artists and enthusiasts alike can engage with clay, paint, and glaze in their most authentic forms, surrounded by an environment that feels both intentional and inspiring.

Snow Canyon State Park Discovery Center

The Snow Canyon State Park Discovery Center is a thoughtfully designed and sustainable building that aims to enhance visitor experiences while preserving the natural beauty of the surrounding red rock landscape. Located outside of Utah’s Snow Canyon State Park, the center serves as both an educational hub and a gateway for visitors to explore the park’s unique ecosystems. The interior design creates an engaging, immersive space that harmonizes with the park’s natural beauty while fostering learning and exploration. The layout is designed to offer flexibility for exhibits, events, and educational programs, with open, airy spaces that encourage flow and interaction. The design integrates natural materials such as reclaimed wood, stone, and textured finishes to evoke the local landscape, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that connects visitors to the environment.

Odyssey Children's Library

Odyssey Childrens Library is designed as a dynamic and adaptable space that fosters learning, creativity, and community engagement. Inspired by the ocean, the architecture and interiors reflect fluid, organic forms and a calming yet invigorating color palette. The layout balances open, social areas with quiet, reflective spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for all users. With a focus on flexibility, the library includes adaptable study rooms, a collaborative makerspace, and a multi-purpose community area that can host events, workshops, and group activities. Thoughtful wayfinding, varied seating options, and intuitive zoning create a seamless user experience. The Odyssey Library is more than a place to read—it is a space designed to evolve with the needs of its visitors, fostering both individual growth and collective connection.

Ridge Haven

Nestled in the heart of Oregon’s rugged landscape, Ridge Haven is a modern reinterpretation of the classic cabin, designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Inspired by the textures and tones of the Pacific Northwest, the home incorporates materials such as cedar shakes, cobbled stone, rattan, and rough-hewn wood, creating a space that feels both grounded and refined. Large windows and an open floor plan invite natural light while framing views of the nearby sceneries. This design balances rustic charm with contemporary functionality, prioritizing comfort an indoor-outdoor experience. Every element reflects a commitment to craftsmanship and thoughtful living.
