Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Eve Bremer is a Utah native with a passion for thoughtful design. She began her journey of higher education at Utah State University in 2021, and has since pursued a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture and Design with a minor in Art. Eve is deeply committed to the value of higher education and community. Throughout her time at Utah State, and with the goal of supporting fellow students in their academic and creative development, she has served as a peer mentor for incoming freshmen, a writing tutor, and an Undergraduate Teaching Fellow within her program. She is also an active member of Kappa Delta Sorority, where she has further developed her leadership and collaborative skills. Outside of the studio, Eve enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring creative outlets in a variety of ways. Following graduation, she hopes to continue her creative endeavors by pursuing a career at an Interior Design firm which focuses on human-centered design, and allows her to continue to expand her knowledge.

As an adaptive reuse project, this design transforms a former office building into a vibrant and experiential hotel. Centered on the principles of connection and curiosity, the space encourages guests to engage with both the environment and each other. Through its eclectic style, Hotel Marlowe becomes a destination in itself, drawing in visitors who love to experience bold interiors.

A maximalist hotel bathroom which is defined by its bold, floor-to-ceiling zebra-print wallpaper and a circular, sunburst-style mirror with red segments around the perimeter. The space features a curved burl wood vanity with a marble top, complemented by classic brass fixtures and a pair of small sconces with blue-and-white patterned shades. Traditional framed artwork and a blue-and-white tiled floor with a green rug add further layers of color and texture to the eclectic design.

A-Frame Vacation Home

Located on the shore of Grand Lake in Colorado, this A-Frame vacation home acts as an escape from everyday life for clients Claire and Matthew Bennett. As the owners of an empty plot along the stunning waterfront, the couple sought to create a home that would reflect their interests while also functioning comfortably for their day-to-day lifestyle. The resulting design is a simple yet distinctive retreat that embraces its natural surroundings and prioritizes views of the lake and beautiful landscape.

Cherry's Ice Cream Parlor

Inspired by the nostalgia of early American ice cream parlors, this design re-imagines the original concept with a contemporary twist.

Instead of replicating a single historical period, the space has a combination of influences from the late nineteenth century through the mid-twentieth century. Classic soda fountain elements are called to within the parlor through the products of today, and many of the seating arrangements encourage community interaction.

The Gathering Place

This community center is designed to support individuals and families navigating moments of life change. Inspired by the lack of resource centers which prioritize the stressful realities of seeking assistance, The Gathering Place works hard to acknowledge the importance of dignity.

Through this, cognitive overload for adults is reduced as they complete important administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork, pursuing government assistance programs, or applying for jobs. Simultaneously, children are able to enjoy engaging and developmentally supportive areas designed just for them.

Malibu Contemporary Kitchen

Located right near the beaches of Malibu in sunny California, this kitchen re-design was intended to compliment the architectural beauty which houses it. Created with the idea of not only being visually stunning, but also perfectly functional, this contemporary space meets the exact criteria that the client was hoping for.

Ruderal

Ruderal, a wallcovering line, is comprised of five floral designs. Each of the variants showcase a different flowering weed, all of which can be found commonly outdoors. Though these weeds are typically a burden for those who desire to get rid of them, their blossoms still represent flowers, which are quintessentially considered beautiful.

This ideal stands as a broader metaphor for childhood trauma, struggle, and abuse. Much like plants, children grow through their environments and experiences. As their brain develops through this, a garden begins to sprout. However, when traumatic events disrupt this growth, weeds are revealed. Despite the negative impact, as the weeds start to bloom themselves, beauty and resilience persist within the hardships.

Șālūn Safa

Located in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Salun Safa is a hair salon which was specifically designed to serve Muslim women.

This establishment focuses greatly on dignity, and in doing so, prioritizes privacy. This salon functions as an environment where clients can comfortably remove their hijab, care for their hair, and connect with one another.
