Morgan Johnson is an Interior Architecture and Design student with a minor in Art and Art History graduating in May 2026. With a strong passion for residential design, Morgan is dedicated to designing spaces that bring warmth, purpose, and meaning to the idea of home. She believes that thoughtfully designed environments have a profound impact on well-being and mental health, fostering a sense of belonging and emotional connection. Her work reflects a balance of functionality, beauty, and human-centered design, with a focus on creating spaces that feel both intentional and inviting. West Residence

The West Residence is a historic Chicago home re-imagined for modern living. Traditional floor plans have been thoughtfully revised to create functional, contemporary spaces while preserving the character and charm of the original architecture. Each room features updated materials and carefully selected furnishings that honor the home’s history, blending heritage with comfort and style. This renovation balances respect for the past with the needs of today’s lifestyle, resulting in a home that feels timeless yet livable.

Bella Revestimento

The "Bella Rivestimento" Wall covering Line is inspired by Italian architecture and culture. Drawing from Italy’s iconic landscapes, color palettes, and timeless motifs, this collection embodies the classic beauty of Italian design. Each wall covering is eco-friendly, thoughtfully hand-painted and meticulously crafted, bringing artistry and elegance to every space.

Rochebelle Residence

Rochebelle Residence, is a bright, traditional and classic space designed to balance elegance with functionality. Located in Nice France, it features light cabinetry, polished metal accents, and integrated Sub-Zero appliances, creating a sophisticated and welcoming environment. Functional zones for cooking, prepping, cleaning, storage, and socializing are optimized, with layered lighting and durable, high-quality materials ensuring both beauty and practicality for daily use and entertaining.

Colline Blu Villa

“Colline Blu Villa” or Villa of the Blue Hills is a tranquil coastal retreat designed for relaxation, elegance, and immersion in Italian culture. Inspired by the beauty of Portofino, Italy known for its iconic “blue hills,” where coastal mountains appear soft blue as they fade into the Mediterranean horizon. Guests are welcomed into a grand lobby that sets the tone for a refined yet inviting experience. The resort features private suites that provide comfort and privacy, along with a relaxing pool and spa. At the heart of the resort, a central courtyard offers a serene gathering space inspired by traditional Italian villas. Guests can also enjoy an on-site restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine, creating an experience that celebrates the flavors, scenery, and lifestyle of the Italian Riviera.

Bear Lake Casita

The Bear Lake casita is a traditional, coastal-inspired guest house designed to maximize comfort, functionality, and connection to the lakeside setting. It features open, light-filled living spaces, private bedrooms, and flexible recreational areas, all finished with durable, low-maintenance materials and a soft palette of blues, whites, and sandy neutrals. The design balances aesthetic charm with practicality, creating a welcoming, year-round retreat for family and guests.

Ginie's Cafe

Ginie’s Cafe is inspired by a western-style café originally owned and operated in the 1970s and 1980s in Spanish Fork, Utah. The project aims to honor that legacy by reimagining the café in a fresh, contemporary way while preserving its original spirit. The atmosphere is designed to feel warm and inviting, with an aesthetic largely influenced by the café’s original style. Subtle nods to its history are woven throughout the design, including in the color palette, wallpaper, and lighting selections.
