Review Process
Applications are reviewed by the Department of Art + Design faculty. The portfolio is the primary basis for selection and should demonstrate a level of development beyond classroom instruction, along with evidence of personal exploration.
Letters of intent and recommendation are also carefully considered. Faculty look for signs of the applicant’s ability to sustain focused effort and pursue realistic goals. Letters should address both academic and design-related achievements and potential for growth.
