Hashimoto Seminar

The Hashimoto Communication Arts Seminar is a weekly seminar that hosts local and regional professional designers. CEO's, creative directors, art directors, design directors. senior and junior designers from advertising, editorial design, product design, packaging design, web design, game design, sound design, animation, video, motion graphics, and other communication design professionals lecture and interact with students, and review senior portfolios. This is an invaluable opportunity for our students and the larger USU community to interact with and lean from top design professionals. The Communication Art seminar has a deep-rooted history in the design community within the Department of Art + Design and the State of Utah. Spanning over 50 years, it's the longest running design lecture series in the state, preceding the Utah chapter of the AIGA. The class originated by students under the direction of Professors John Anderson and Glen Edwards.
