Biography

Paul Wiebel is a visionary entrepreneur and dedicated community advocate. As Chairman of the Board at Econo-Pak in Milford, PA, he leads one of the nation's largest high-volume food packaging companies, serving major global brands. Originally from Parsippany, New Jersey, his entrepreneurial spirit emerged early, shaped by 12 years in the Boy Scouts, where he earned the Silver Scout rank.
 
A Utah State University graduate, Paul launched Econo-Pak from his parents' basement. His company quickly grew, moving through multiple locations before establishing 1 Wiebel Plaza in Sussex, NJ, in 1978. Since settling in Sussex County in 1979, he has been deeply involved in local philanthropy, founding the Wiebel Family Foundation to support community causes.
 
In 2014, he relocated Econo-Pak to a cutting-edge facility in Milford, reflecting his drive for innovation. He also oversees several industrial properties in Sussex County and is a passionate supporter of the arts, recognizing their power to inspire and strengthen communities. Paul now resides in Sparta, NJ, where he continues to balance business leadership with civic and cultural engagement.
