On November 17, 2025, USU Philosophers Charlie Huenemann, Rachel Robison-Greene, and Michael Otteson joined Tom Williams for Utah Public Radio’s “Access Utah” live segment.
In addition to promoting the Ask Us Anything event that occurred Thursday, November 21 at the Logan Public Library for World Philosophy Day, the philosophers got to speak on array of topics. While examining the virtue of studying philosophy, Robison-Greene described philosophy “as a conversation not just among contemporaries, but across time.” It allows students to explore questions of wonder and meaning while still employing the use of logic and argumentation to find answers to these universal questions.
The UPR segment is just under an hour long and explores topics on AI ethics, the nature of philosophy, and other applications of philosophy in modernity.
