Lodging
The organizers have booked some rooms at Moab Valley Inn. If you were given funding we will coordinate the organization of shared hotel rooms (including roommate preferences). If you were not given funding and still want to come to the conference please book your own room. There are many hotels in downtown Moab.
Local Information
The conference will be held at Utah State University Regional Campus in Moab Utah.
Moab is an incredibly beautiful place surrounded by desert, red rocks and mountains. There are several national parks in the area including Arches and Canyonlands.

Transportation
Moab is located about a four hour drive from Salt Lake City, Utah, and about two hours from Grand Junction, Colorado. Commercial airlines serve Salt Lake City, Grand Junction and Moab directly.
You may want to consider renting a car to travel from Salt Lake City. The latter option could be advantageous because it will make it easier to explore the surrounding natural beauty. Soon we will provide a google document where you can share your travel plans and coordinate carpooling to reduce costs.
Other access is by commercial van services and by private car. See, for example, Salt Lake Express and Discover Moab/Shuttle.
