Audition Preparation

Please arrive 30 minutes early to your time slot as auditions tend to run ahead of schedule.

The director requests 2 pieces. One piece should be from a horror genre and one piece should show your sense of humor. One piece can be in British dialect, but not absolutely required. Piece don’t necessarily have to be from plays, other texts are possible. The horror piece and sense of humor piece can be the same thing, in which case pick a second piece that shows something else of yourself.

Total audition package, including walking into and exiting the space not to exceed 3 minutes. For BFA-Acting auditions, the slots are 30 seconds longer to enable the performance faculty to complete the jury assessment forms. Stage management will handle traffic flow on the day of BFA-Acting auditions.

PLEASE NOTE: this play contains sexuality, implied and graphic violence, lots of blood, intimacy and, well, vampires. Please read the play beforehand so you know what each role is expected to do.
