Amy Critchfield

Biography

A native of Washington State, Amy received a M.F.A. in Scenic Design and Technical Direction from Utah State University, a B.A. in Theater from Eastern Washington University and an A.A.S in Natural Sciences from BYUI (formerly Ricks Jr. College).  After receiving her M.F.A., Amy moved to Wyoming where she became the scenic designer and Technical Director for Western Wyoming Community College.  She returned to Utah State in 2021 to become Technical Director and Production Manager for Theater Department and Lyric Rep.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places, reading and spending time with her family and Frejya, her dog.
