Alumni Spotlight: Emma Morgan

Emma Morgan '22

Since graduating, I have been teaching at Spring Creek Middle School. I teach 8th grade Language Arts and the Theatre Foundations class. When I first started teaching theatre I only had enough students to teach one class for one trimester. Now, the program has grown and we have four classes a year filled with 30-35 kids. I’m so proud of it! 

Teaching was such a hard adjustment but I’ve become such a confident teacher. I’m really good a setting boundaries thanks to Dr. Dawson! Plus, I’m getting married so life is great!
