Alumni Spotlight: Jake Hogan

Jake Hogan '21

I am a 7th grade ELA teacher at Evergreen Junior High School, in Granite School District! I am also in a grad program at the University of Utah where I am studying Educational Psychology with a specialty in adolescent literature. 

In 2021, when I first got hired as an ELA teacher instead of a full time Theatre teacher, I was pretty disappointed but now I have a fulfilling career as an ELA teacher. I use the skills and practices that I learned in USU's Theatre Education program every day, in school, and in my grad program!
