Meet the Theatre Education & Costume Design Students!

Dr. Amanda Dawson and 4 theatre students - Katie Ludlow (Theatre Education), Charlee Harris (Theatre Education), Meghan Crook (Theatre Education), and Lauren Loertscher (Graduate Costumes) - had a wonderful opportunity to visit New York City!

They saw The Great Gatsby and Ragtime, visited the MET and MoMA, attended USU Alum Bibhu Mohapatra’s New York Fashion Week show!

Bibhu Mohapatra graduated with from USU in 1998 with a master’s degree in merchandising from the Department of Human Environment. He subsequently earned a fashion design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York in 1999. 

In 2008 Mohapatra launched his own line and since then has presented many collections of luxury women’s ready to wear couture. Mohapatra has garnered awards and recognition from Ecco Domani, the National Arts Club and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)
