Description
Located adjacent to the cultural hubs, the Intensive English Language Institute (IELI) Lab is a space used for teaching, tutoring, meeting, and learning. IELI supports both international and local ESL students working to develop English competency and complete their studies at Utah State University. The lab can also serve as a conference room and meeting space for bigger language club gatherings. The room’s technology includes a large screen monitor, ceiling-mounted projector, and audio/recording equipment to enhance language learning through foreign film screenings and streaming channels. A lockable closet facilitates checking out digital/print media and course content. Flexible collaborative desks and seating support tutoring sessions and activities.
