Description

Having an adaptable space available for a variety of purposes is a much-needed addition to the Department of World Languages and Cultures. The event space fills an important role as a flexible, centralized area focused on cultural interaction, and brings people together for cohesive, collaborative experiences. This large, inviting space can be reserved for lectures, presentations, visiting guests, cultural celebrations, and more. Located off the kitchen for catered functions, this room includes multiple furniture configurations, allowing attendees to feel comfortable and present during a range of events and uses.

Room Details

Location

The room faces the Quad from the second floor and connects to an outdoor rooftop terrace. In addition to hosting major events, the room may also be scheduled for language club social events, faculty meetings and conference activities. The programmatic kitchen has direct access to the space.

  • Large Event Space: This area can accommodate ~ 156 seats for large group gatherings
