Biography
After earning her Master's degree in Spanish 25 years ago from the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, Charlotte began her professional career at a petroleum company. In 2013, she transitioned to the Cache County School District, where she has been working as a dual immersion teacher (DLI). With over twelve years of dedicated experience in education, she has established herself as a passionate advocate for cultural exchange and inclusive learning. As a French teacher in the DLI program, Charlotte has developed expertise in evidence-based teaching methodologies and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of language acquisition. Throughout her career, she has empowered non-native speakers to overcome linguistic and cultural barriers, fostering classrooms where diversity is celebrated and every student feels valued. Her commitment to learner-centered instruction and innovative teaching approaches has inspired countless students to view language learning as a pathway to personal growth and global citizenship. Now, driven by her unwavering dedication to supporting diverse learners, Charlotte is pursuing a Master’s in Second Language Teaching.
