Biography
Elaine was born and raised in the shadow of Old Main and has been an Aggie her whole life. Her first real paying job was working for USU Housing cleaning dorms during the summer while she was in high school. Prior to coming to Utah State University, she worked for the Logan City School District for 22 years in human resources with her last seven years as the Child Nutrition Director. She started her second career at USU in October 2009 first in the Music Department, then with the Caine College of the Arts and now as the Assistant to the Director for the Caine School of the Arts.
She also serves as the Managing Director of the American Festival Chorus & Orchestra, a volunteer community choir of 175 to 200 choir members and a 60 piece professional orchestra in the Cache Valley area.
Elaine and her husband, Scott, have three children, one amazing son-in-law and 2 wonderful grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys traveling with her family, reading, singing and keeping a nice home and yard.

- Executive Support for the Dean
- Management of the Deans schedule
- Supervises the college staff assistant
- Oversee all college events – Retreat, Convocation, Awards and Donor, Graduation
- Oversee the Caine Ambassadors
- Oversee Interfolio and Promotion and Tenure
- Oversee the faculty, staff and student awards
- Facilities liaison for the Dean’s Office and annual key report
