About the Impact Commons
The Impact Commons is used as a study area in the Daryl Chase Fine Arts Center. It is located on the second floor, directly south of the Tippetts & Eccles Galleries. Occasionally, the space can be scheduled for receptions, meetings, and recitals. There are multiple seating configuration options, with seating for approximately 40 people. The space also features a baby grand piano, which resides in the room and is available for rental.
The Hansen Atrium in the Daryl Chase Fine Arts Center is named in honor of Dell Loy and Lynette Hansen for their incredible support of the Caine College of the Arts and its students. The interior of the atrium was designed by one of Utah State University's own interior design faculty, Darrin Brooks. Since its opening in 2014, the Hansen Atrium has served as the grand entrance to the Newel & Jean Daines Concert Hall. The Box Office is located just off to the side of the atrium.
The Black Box Theatre is an intimate studio theatre with flexible seating for up to 90 people. When not in use by acting classes, the space is utilized for performances and rehearsals throughout the school year, as well as during the summer by Lyric Rep. It is located on the second floor of the Chase Fine Arts Center, in the Theatre Department wing.
