Learning Objectives: Master of Arts/Sciences in American Studies (Folklore Specialization)
The American Studies (Folklore) graduate program has three learning objectives. As a result of successfully completing the requirements of the M.S. or M.A. degree in American Studies (Folklore), students shall:
- Acquire knowledge of research types, methods, and techniques with the aim of applying these in folklore research.
- Conduct, present, and defend a body of folklore research undertaken during program.
- Make effective oral arguments in professional settings.
