David Hailey

Biography

Between 1995 and 2016, David Hailey taught technical and professional communication, with a focus on how emerging technologies affected the professions. His early research focused on the impact of digital media in education, and he developed courses, programs, and instruction sets that became models for online instruction across the U.S. today. His research later focused on rubrics for evaluating content quality in complex information systems, ending in the book, ReaderCentric Writing for Digital Media: Theory and Practice (2014).
