Sink Hollow Releases Fall '24 Issue

Founded by students in 2016, Sink Hollow is an online literary magazine that offers undergraduate writers an opportunity for publication and recognition. Sink Hollow publishes three issues per year and has given voice to an array of international writers and artists —granting many of them their publication debuts. The Fall ’24 issue reflects a wide range of topics and viewpoints expressed through poetry, prose, and art. 

Noelani Hadfield, editor-in-chief, writes, "Sink Hollow gives voice to the off-kilter, the unexpected." Issue no. 18 embodies those same values, featuring undergraduate artists and authors grappling with bodily autonomy, spiritual exploration, and cultural attitudes about gender and sexuality. No rhetorical stone is left unturned; what writhes beneath strikes the reader as both disturbing and profound.

Noelani extends a gentle invitation to each reader: "...look closer at the iridescent wings of a dragonfly, at the strings that pull two people together. Perhaps, if you’re lucky, you’ll find something whispering back."
