The English Department Honors Sigma Tau Delta Graduates

On April 27, 2026, graduating members of Sigma Tau Delta were recognized at a casual department ceremony. These seniors were bestowed red-and-black cords indicating their membership in the International English Honor Society. Graduating members include Kaylee Jo Stocks, Kayleigh Kearsley, Sadie Olsen, Lizzie Leishman, Ellie Fallows, Eden Marroquin, and Yasamin Osqueezadeh. The department is proud of these scholars and wishes them the best as they continue on in their next phase of life. 

“At the end of March, I attended the national convention in New Orleans with many of these students and supported them as they presented their scholarly and artistic works, and our group strongly and successfully represented Utah State University,” Advisor Mary Ellen Greenwood reflects. “Sigma Tau Delta provides a supportive and opportunity-filled environment for those invested in literacy, scholarship, and rhetoric, and our nine graduating members reflect the achievement, character, fellowship, excellence, and dedication detailed in the vision statement of Sigma Tau Delta, one that encourages them to ‘transform the world with words.’"
