Matthew Whitaker Named Director of USU Writing Center

English Department Lecturer Matthew Whitaker has been named Director of the USU Writing Center. The Writing Center provides one-on-one tutoring sessions where students receive feedback to improve their writing on a variety of topics.

“I've enjoyed my time at USU immensely, and I'm excited about moving into the director role at the Writing Center,” Matt says. “We've assembled a really outstanding team of tutors, and we've worked hard as an organization to earn a positive reputation on campus as the go-to resource for writing instruction. I look forward to continuing that good work.”
