Undergraduate Conference Travel Awards
The English Department provides funding to support English majors traveling to present their research and creative work at conferences. English majors may request up to $300 per academic year to support this kind of experiential learning opportunity.
These awards are separate from the department's Student Opportunity Awards, which can also support conference presentation opportunities. An English major can apply for both to support the same conference presentation experience.
To request funding, please email the Department Head, Brian McCuskey (brian.mccuskey@usu.edu). Please confirm that you are a current English major and provide the following information:

Title of Presentation

Copy of conference acceptance and/or program listing your presentation
If approved, the funding will then be applied during the TA (Travel Authorization) process.
