Biography
Sarah Gordon holds a Ph.D. in French from Washington University in St. Louis, an M.Phil. from Oxford University, and a B.A. from UC Berkeley. She brings her experiences living and working in France and francophone New Caledonia into the classroom. She has been awarded fellowships from NEH, Mellon, UCLA, MLA, and others. She has numerous publications related to food, medicine, literature, and culture. She has been a professional translator and interpreter. She enjoys working with future and current K-12 teachers and graduate students. She regularly works with international education programs. Gordon has also taught at several companies in Paris, at the La Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, Ohio University, Chapman University, The Citadel, and for the National Guard.
