Carole Overturf

Biography
Carole Overturf is an arts professional and flutist originally from Houston, Texas, specializing in administrative support and business management. She holds both a masters in flute performance from Indiana University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of North Texas with a focus in music business. As a performer, Carole has played with several ensembles in the Dallas area, including the New Life Symphony Orchestra, Millennial Choirs and Orchestras ,and many more. In addition to her role as the Department Coordinator for the USU Music Department, she is also the founder of Creative Cohesion Consulting, a boutique management and virtual support firm for musicians, artists, and small nonprofits.
Prior to moving to Utah, Carole served as the Administrative Coordinator of Instrumental Studies for the University of North Texas College of Music, where she managed day-to-day office procedures for 40+ faculty members and nearly 1,000 students. Outside of her work in higher education and supporting creatives, Carole enjoys arts and crafts, true crime podcasts, and spending time with her husband Patrick and pets Winnie and Oscar.
