Tirzah Runyun

Biography

Tirzah Runyan, MT-BC, SCMT, HPCMT, has been the on-site music therapist at Birch Creek since August 2025, facilitating group and individual music therapy sessions along with helping the life enrichment team with a wide variety of other activities. After finishing an internship in 2020 at EarthTones in Portland, OR she moved back to Utah and began working with individuals in hospice care and their families for several years. After taking a short break to start her family, the wonderful opportunity to work at Birch Creek came. Ever since then she has found great fulfillment working with the wonderful residents and staff, as well as balancing her time at home with family. Her hopes for Birch Creek are to continue to strengthen music therapy sessions, establish a hospice program, and begin an internship.
