Music Classroom Scheduling

for Non-Students/Non-Faculty Community Members

Community members and other third parties (non-student/non-faculty) are welcome to rent Music Department classrooms for events such as recitals, studio classes, ensemble rehearsals, etc. Fill out the form below to request a classroom rental, then watch your email for our Facilities Use Agreement and payment instructions. We will call you if your requested date, time, or room is unavailable.

If you need to make changes to an event that has already been scheduled, or if you have specific questions or concerns, please call the music department at (435) 797-3204 or email musicservices@usu.edu.

Room Rental Rates
Half Day (1-4 hours)
  • $25.00 per room
Full Day (4+ hours)
  • $50.00 per room
Piano Use (1-12 hours)
  • $20.00 per instrument
Please note that a grand piano is available in each room for an extra charge. Indicate whether you would like to add that to your reservation, in the Additional Information section of the form.

Classroom Rental Policies & Procedures
  1. Renter is responsible for any damage done to the room, the piano, or other USU Music Department property. All garbage needs to be placed in the appropriate bin in the hall.
  2. No food or drink in rooms FAC 214, 123, 218, 220.
  3. ABSOLUTELY no items are to be placed on top of the piano.
  4. Piano should remain locked and covered if it has not been rented.
  5. Piano lock keys can be checked out from FAC 102 as early as the day before your event. If the scheduled room and/or piano is locked for an after-hours event, call (435) 797-9690 for assistance.
  6. Payment needs to be made at least one week before the date of the reservation.
  7. Performers are asked to wash their hands before using pianos.
  8. Those who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are encouraged to wear masks.
