Standard Student Recording Session Package in Russell/Wanlass Performance Hall

For Audition or Competition only. Request must be made by Faculty at least 6 weeks in advance via reservations.usu.edu.

One 2-hour recording session equates to $100 total with no additional time or options. You are allowed two 2-hour recording sessions or a 4-hour recording session max per semester.

Included labor of one audio tech:

• 30 minute set up
• 30 minute soundcheck
• 2-hour recording session
• 30 minute strike

Included Equipment:

• Piano with bench
• Padded Chair and Music Stand
• Stereo room mics
• Audio Recording equipment (computer, interface, and microphone preamps)

Additional Options:

• + $100 - Single Camera Video Recording and/or Live Streaming includes a video technician for 2 hour session. Add an additional $50 for 4 hour recording session.
• + $10 - per additional microphone with a two-microphone cap. Includes mic, mic stand & cable.

Example Basic 2-hour Recording Session:

• 5:00pm - Technician arrives for setup.
• 5:30pm - Musician arrives for soundcheck.
• 6:00pm - Recording session begins (audio only).
• 8:00pm - Recording session ends.
• 8:30pm - Technician finishes strike.
