Through various alumni, community, and industry partnerships, students can get hands-on experience while developing durable skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

Study Abroad

The College of Arts & Sciences encourages undergraduates to participate in a variety of study abroad opportunities. Many program and faculty-led opportunities exist within the college to help students engage in experiential learning abroad while receiving academic credit.

Community Service

As part of our land-grant mission, the College of Arts & Sciences recognizes the importance of serving our community, valley, state, nation, and world. ArtSci students are encouraged to participate in community service opportunities that help uplift the community in their role as citizen scholars.

For Students

The College of Arts & Sciences (ArtSci) encourages high-impact experiential learning opportunities such as internships, community service, conferences, and immersive study abroad programs that enrich student learning outside of the classroom. While transformative in nature, economic barriers can prevent or reduce participation for many students. To provide greater access to such opportunities ArtSci students can apply for multiple experiential learning scholarships depending on their majors.
