Supporting Application Materials
In addition to your Completed USU application you will need:
- Resume listing theatre experience
- 1-2 paragraph explanation of why you want to pursue a BA degree
- Interview
Once we’ve received both your USU referral and your supporting materials, we will review your application and we may reach out to you to schedule an audition/interview.
Please note that, due to the high volume of applications, we cannot interview/audition every applicant. If you are selected for an audition/interview, we will reach out to schedule with you, though it may not be for several weeks after you’ve submitted all of your materials for review. We will also reach out to let you know if your application is declined or the program is full.

Selected department financial aid awards are available as applications are received. This application automatically gives you consideration for departmental financial aid. Most financial aid is not available for alternate semester starts. If departmental financial aid is offered, you will be notified in your acceptance letter. All out of state students should apply for residency for future financial aid consideration and tuition reduction. All other scholarships are administered through Award Spring, a platform utilized by USU.
All students receiving financial aid should apply for residency their first year.
