Maddie Townsend

Biography

Maddie Townsend is TESOL certified and received a Masters of English from Utah Valley University. She works with adult refugee-background English language learners who are developing foundational literacy for the first time in any language, and is passionate about breaking barriers with literacy, language, and authentic cultural exchange. Outside of the classroom she enjoys fiber arts, reading, and exploring language, culture, and geography.
