Did you know that nearly 30% of birds in the US and Canada have vanished since 1960? If you ask me, that’s too much. There is so much that the human population is doing that is hurting biodiversity. Instead of focusing completely on the destruction humans are causing, lets focus on what we can do to improve our situation. I feel like the first step starts with gaining a vision of the desired outcome. My desired outcome is to always be able to hear the birds’ beautiful songs fill the air and be inspired as I watch them fly through the sky. My painting of three birds stands as a positive reminder to me that change is possible. I can make small changes in my life to be more environmentally friendly that will help our little flying friends.
