Climate Change

For this final project I wanted to create a short comic strip that simply talked about climate change and that gave a few ideas of everyday things we could do to help prevent it. I chose to do it from the point of view of a child because I wanted even a child to be able to understand a little bit about climate change. Climate change affects everyone in one way or another. We are all connected on this planet so we all need to work together to help prevent it.

Comic graphic by Ella Niederhauser. Boy gets sad when the snowman melts in winter. The little boy asks, "Why is it so Hot?" It is the middle of December. The tv reports that it is the warmest winter yet.Comic graphic by Ella Niederhauser continued. Boy asks dad, "Dad, what is climate change?" The dad and son go on a walk. The dad replies, "Well son, climate change is when earth's weather patterns change." The son asks, "So no snow?". The dad replies, "It looks like it. Climate change affects different places differently." The son asks, "What can I do? Can we fix it?" The dad says, "Sure we can. We just all have to work together to help the earth. You could bike to get places, grow your own food, use energy from the sun, and change your light bulbs to led.
