Vibrancy, 2021

Our narrative begins showing the importance of biodiversity on land, in the skies, and in the oceans. We then travel to an island to watch as a news banner displays the catastrophes of an unstable Earth. Including, fires, pandemics, damaging the ocean, and the consequences of exceeding planetary boundaries. As sea levels rise and the pollution of our unsustainable growth crowds us out, we flea. In our fleeing we swim past the once vibrant coral reefs but now they are a bleached wasteland. The rising sea levels cause sea front cities to drown, and our dark fate sets upon us. Then we are asked a question: would you like to choose a different outcome? We have to CHOOSE to change our course. The we flash into a vibrant life full of systematical changes. Including locally produced food options, clean modes of transportation and energy, and on the way into a clean and brighter future.

The prevalent use of color reminds us what living vibrantly can be. The looping transition of colors represents the continual choice we have to make. A choice between consciously striving for vibrancy or a damaging dull life. We need to change and act in away that will lead to lasting vibrancy for Earth and all its inhabitants.
