Different World

For this project, I helped some of the Kindergarten Prep children at my preschool investigate climate change. We watched videos and read books to help them learn about how the planet is changing. The book that finally sparked their interest was, “Many.” I turned the page and one of them said, “Wait, butterflies? The butterflies are in danger?” And another asked, “Earthworms, too?” The book inspired them to write their own story and we decided to present in the from of stop animation. This project was child directed and edited by me.
